Drawn to Places is a hand-drawn local guide to bars and cafés in Budapest

It offers a personal point of view of the vibrant and eclectic venues that capture the essence of the city. Each illustration highlights the unique character of the place and invites locals and travelers alike to explore the new, or rediscover the well known.

How do I choose places?

I visit places that I personally enjoy, the ones I love to return to, and where I take my friends visiting from abroad.

These places offer a unique atmosphere, and through my drawings, I aim to capture and share the reasons I enjoy spending time there.

How do I make the drawings?

I like to draw on-site while enjoying a coffee, snack, drink, or dish, so I know exactly what to recommend.

Using highlighters and fineliners my focus is not on photorealism but on offering a personal and unique interpretation—a hand-drawn travel guide.

Here’s my process

Work with me

Let’s collaborate! Whether you’re a business, a café owner, or someone with a special place in mind, I’d love to bring your idea to life through art.

Where to find my prints?

You can see my prints in some of Budapest’s most charming spots!

These places loved their custom drawings so much, it’s now part of their decor. See if you can find my sketches—it’s like a mini art hunt in the city!
